We Launched the Aceserver Portal
Table of Contents
Main Structure of the Aceserver Portal
Homepage
A compact entry point for the server overview, Java and Bedrock support, and how to join.
World Maps
Separate pages guide visitors to the main, resource, and RPG worlds.
Wiki and Videos
Visitors can move naturally to the Wiki and video pages when they want details or atmosphere.
We launched the official portal for Aceserver, a free public Minecraft server anyone can join.
Aceserver supports both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. The new portal brings the server overview, joining information, videos, world maps, and Wiki paths into one entry point. It is also listed on Acecore’s works page as a web production and community portal case.
Background
Aceserver has several pieces of information visitors need before joining: what the server is, how to join, what worlds are available, and where rules and details are maintained.
When that information is spread across Discord, Wiki, videos, and world maps, first-time visitors have to decide where to start. For this project, we designed the portal as a front door that connects existing information sources instead of replacing them.
One Entry Point Before Joining
The homepage explains Aceserver as a free public Minecraft server anyone can join. It then shows that both Java and Bedrock players can participate, that the server stays close to vanilla play, and that joining starts from the official Discord.
Rather than overloading the page with every detail, the portal focuses on helping visitors decide their next action. Rules and ongoing updates remain connected through the Wiki and Discord.
Keeping Videos, Maps, and Wiki Connected
The portal includes clear paths to videos and world maps. The map section separates the main, resource, and RPG worlds so visitors can reach the right destination quickly.
Wiki links are also available from the homepage. Information that changes over time is easier to maintain in the Wiki, while the portal provides a stable route to it.
Built for Ongoing CMS Updates
The site is built with Astro, UnoCSS, and Sveltia CMS. Astro serves the portal as a static site, while UnoCSS keeps the styling lightweight. Page content and site settings can be edited from the CMS, so announcements and navigation can be updated without code changes.
Our thinking around lightweight CMS operations is covered in Sveltia CMS Setup Guide. For static-site performance work, see A Practical Guide to Improving Astro Site Performance.
Added as a Case Study
Acecore’s works page now includes this project as “Aceserver Portal Production.”
The existing public server operations case covers operational reliability and community management. This new case focuses on the web portal that organizes information and entry paths for players.
For portals, community sites, and service sites where information is distributed across several places, creating a clear first entry point is often more valuable than forcing every detail into one page.
Summary
The Aceserver portal is now live as the entry point connecting the server overview, join path, videos, world maps, and Wiki.
